Upon arrival at the Edinburgh airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel for dinner and your first overnight stay at your hotel in Edinburgh.

Scotland’s historic capital is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Testimony to this is the coveted award of World Heritage Site Status recently being awarded to the city’s medieval “Old Town," and Georgian “New Town." Your tour includes a visit to Edinburgh Castle with its dramatic views across the city, and entrance to the exhibition housed in the castle, ”Honors of the Kingdom”, which consists of the Scottish Crown Jewels, and the Stone of Destiny. Later on you will enjoy a traditional Scottish evening that will include dinner and show.

Prepare to depart from Edinburgh and head to the Highlands. The first stop will be Blair Castle, nestled in the dramatic landscape of Highland Perthshire and has been home to 19 generations of Stewarts and Murrays of Atholl. After lunch you will visit the Highland Folk Museum, an open air museum, partly housed in an 18th century shooting lodge. The museum features a Black House from Lewis, a clack mill and exhibits of farming equipment.

In the morning, join a Sheepdog demonstration with a local farmer. During a 45-minute demonstration amidst some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland, you will see up to eight dogs working as a team maneuvering sheep and ducks through various obstacles. In the afternoon, learn all about whisky in a local distillery before having dinner at your hotel.

Visit Dunrobin Castle & Gardens, the most northerly of Scotland's great houses and the largest in the Northern Highlands with 189 rooms. Dunrobin Castle is also one of Britain's oldest continuously inhabited houses dating back to the early 1300s, home to the Earls and later, the Dukes of Sutherland. Enjoy dinner at your hotel.

In the morning, depart from Inverness and visit Urquhart Castle. Urquhart Castle is one of the largest castles in Scotland which fell into decay after 1689 and was blown up in 1692 to prevent it being occupied by Jacobites. You will continue to Glencoe where you will visit the new eco-friendly Glencoe Visitor Centre which houses fascinating exhibitions about the area, its human and natural history and the people who use and live near it. You will continue via Loch Lomond to Glasgow.

Enjoy a panoramic tour of Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow. Glasgow is considered one of Europe’s most exciting and beautiful destinations combining the energy and sophistication of any great international city. As a former UK City of Architecture and Design, Glasgow offers a range of fascinating building in various architectural styles. In the afternoon, visit Stirling castle. One of Scotland’s grandest castles due to its imposing position and impressive architecture, commanding the countryside for many miles around. It towers over some of the most important battlefields of Scotland’s past including Stirling Bridge, the site of William Wallace’s victory over the English in 1297, and Bannockburn where Robert the Bruce defeated the same foe in the summer of 1314.

This morning you will have to say goodbye to Scotland and prepare to be transferred to the Glasgow Airport for your flight home.
