Upon arrival at the Dublin airport, you will be met by your local guide. En route to your hotel you will have a panoramic sightseeing tour to discover Dublin’s Fair City. Your tour will take you to all the sights including the famous “Doors of Dublin,” the elegant Georgian squares and Phoenix Park. Your tour will include a visit of Trinity College and the Book of Kells. Trinity College is the oldest University in Ireland and included will be a visit of the ancient library including the ninth Century Book of Kells with its precious illuminations.

Today you will leave Dublin and drive westwards. You will visit the monastic settlement Clonmacnoise, which is Ireland's most important monastic site. The site was founded by St. Ciaran in the 6th century and consists of numerous early churches, high crosses, round towers and graves.

Enjoy a tour of the beautiful Connemara Region, a land of lakes and rivers, bogs and mountains and small villages where Gaelic is still the spoken language. You will visit Kylemore Abbey, a Benedictine monastery founded in 1920. You will have the chance to discover the restored rooms of the abbey, the walled gardens and the gothic church. You will then continue to the Connemara Heritage & History Centre where you will enjoy a Irish soda bread making demonstration with sampling.

This morning you will visit a local farm where you will join a sheep dog and sheep shearing demonstration. See how these magnificent creatures help the Irish farmers to shepherd the sheep. You will also have the opportunity to make your own scones and try this traditional and delicious pastry! Afterwards, you will visit The Cliffs of Moher. These majestic cliffs rise from the Atlantic Ocean at 215 meters and extend for over seven kilometers long. From this height, you can admire the Aran Islands and the Connemara Mountains. Continue your journey to County Kerry by crossing the Shannon estuary.

This morning, you will depart on one of Ireland’s beautiful drives, the Ring of Kerry. The scenery is spectacular, with wind-swept cliffs, still lakes, lost valleys and Rocky Mountains blending in awesome beauty. From Sneem, your journey continues via “Ladies View” back to Killarney. In the afternoon, you will do a Jaunting Car Tour. This is the perfect way to see the hidden delights of Killarney National Park & the famous Lakes of Killarney. Step back in time and experience Ireland’s most traditional mode of transport.

This morning you will visit the Rock of Cashel. Towering over the town of Cashel from its perch on a 200-foot high outcrop of limestone, the Rock of Cashel was once the seat of the Kings of Munster. St. Patrick visited the rock in 450, while Brian Boru was crowned the 1st high King of Ireland here in the tenth century.Continue to the medieval town of Kilkenny, often referred to as “the Marble City”. You will visit the 12th century Kilkenny Castle, built by the Normans.

Prepare to return to the Irish capital. Your route will take you to the Irish National Stud, a thoroughbred horse breeding facility.  Here you can also visit the magnificent Japanese Gardens, acclaimed as the finest Japanese Gardens in Europe. You will then drive through county Wicklow, the “Garden of Ireland”. Head for the heathery hills of the Wicklow Mountains that spring up at the edge of Dublin’s southern suburbs. Enjoy the roads that wind through the mountain passes, cross over the high glens, and thread their way to the sandy beaches.

Prepare to be transferred from your hotel in Dublin to the Dublin airport for your flight home.
