Apostle Paul's Second Journey to Greece

In Acts 16, prompted by a vision, Paul ventures to Macedonia. In Philippi, they convert Lydia, heal a tormented girl, and face imprisonment, leading to the conversion of their jailer. Acts 17 sees Paul preaching in Thessaloniki, encountering opposition, and seeking refuge in Berea. Trouble persists, and Paul is sent to Athens, where he delivers the renowned "Areopagus sermon." In Acts 18, after Corinthian work, Paul sails to Syria, stopping briefly in Ephesus. His encounters reveal the challenges and triumphs of spreading the Gospel.

Departure for Thessaloniki, Greece.

Arrival, meet Perillo Tours representative, transfer to hotel. Dinner and relaxation.

Tour Veria, visit Jewish synagogue and Paul's sermon rostrum. Explore Vergina, tomb of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great.

Journey through Apollonia and Amphipolis. Visit riverside in Philippi, ancient city, and Neapolis (Kavala). Dinner and overnight stay.

Explore Thessaloniki, visit landmarks and basilica. Depart for Athens, check into hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Visit Acropolis, Parthenon, Acropolis Museum, and Erechtheion. Read Paul's sermon on Mars' Hill. Stroll through the Agora.

Head to Corinth where Paul lived. Acts 18:1-11. Paul moves on to Corinth where Silas and Timothy eventually rejoin him some months later. Return to Athens for celebratory dinner.

Explore Mykonos, iconic windmills, and beautiful beaches.

Ephesus shore excursion, including House of the Virgin Mary, and visit ancient harbor and amphitheater. Patmos tour St. John's Grotto (cave of the Apocalypse Monastery.

Explore medieval city of Rhodes, visit the Palace of the Grand Masters.

Visit Church of Titus in Heraklion. Explore Santorini, Fira town.

 

Return to Athens' Port (Piraeus), transfer to the airport for the flight home.
