Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning city tour of Oslo: drive through the center of Oslo, passing all of the main sights and highlights, including the Royal Palace and the Nobel Institute. View the City Hall, inaugurated in 1950 at Oslo's 900-year jubilee. Akershus Fortress, sitting boldly on the waterfront is today partly a museum and a military area. Pass the Parliament Building before entering Karl Johan Street, named after the Swedish-Norwegian king in the early part of the 19th century. The oldest part of Oslo University, dating back to 1813, lines this street. It is famous for its interior decoration by the painter Edvard Munch. You will also pass through attractive villa areas on the way to Vigeland Park. This enormous open-space was laid out in the first half of the 20th century by Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland. Over a period of 30 years, he created his own world of human beings and animals from stone, iron and bronze. There are about 200 statue groups in all, which describe the course of human life from birth to death. The monolith, a 56-foot high granite block carved with 121 figures stands as the unequivocal centerpiece of this well-planned park. On the Bygdøy Peninsula you will visit the Viking Ship Museum. It houses three authentic longboats dating from the Viking Age, around AD 900-1000, which were excavated from the mudbanks along Oslo fjord. The museum also holds a large collection of items found on board the ships, such as household goods, tools, jewelry and clothing. Departure to the area of Gudbrandsdalen. Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Trondheim. Upon arrival, panoramic city tour with particular attention to the Nidaros Cathedral (entrance included). The Cathedral is built over the burial site of King Olav II (c. 995–1030), who became the patron saint of the nation, and is the traditional location for the consecration of new kings of Norway. It was built over a 230 year period, from 1070 to 1300 when it was substantially completed. Nidaros was designated as the cathedral for the Diocese of Nidaros in 1152. After experiencing the turmoil and controversies of the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century, it was taken from the Catholic Church by the newly established state Church of Norway in 1537, which adopted the teachings and reforms of Martin Luther, Phillip Melancthon and others, becoming an Evangelical Lutheran church. Nidaros is the northernmost medieval cathedral in the world. Dinner and overnight in Trondheim.     (B.D.)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Atlantic Road, one of the most suggestive roads in the world. The Atlantic Road has National Tourist Route status and the entire stretch between Bud and Kristiansund is one continuous experience packed with coastal scenery, culture and history. After crossing the fjord from Molde to Vestnes, we arrive in Ålesund in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodatiuons at our hotel.      (B.D.)

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Geiranger and mini-cruise on the Geirangerfjord. Take the chance to experience the UNESCO World Heritage site Geirangerfjord from the boat – for one of the very best and most dramatic fjord scenery anywhere in Norway. You will be able to see the famous waterfalls “The Seven Sisters”, “The Bridal Veil” and “The Suitor”, the majestic fjord cliffs and abandoned mountain farms. Continue to the area of the Sognefjord and overnight on the shores of the fjord, dinner and overnight accommodations at your hotel.  (B.D.)

Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Flåm for a cruise on the Sognefjord. From Flåm you will start a 2h journey sailing through the idyllic Aurlandsfjord, which is also inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The boat continues through the narrow Nærøyfjord before arriving Gudvangen, innermost in the Nærøyfjord. Once on land, we will drive towards Bergen making at stop at the Fantoft Stave Church, one of the typical examples of the wooden churches that belong to the Nordic tradition. Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you will enjoy a Bergen City Tour featuring the old Hanseatic town (Bryggen) Haakonshallen, St. Mary’s Church and Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later visit Troldhaugen, the home of the beloved composer Edvard Grieg. Free afternoon. We suggest to take the cable car to Mount Floyen for a breathtaking view of this seafaring town. Farewell dinner in one of the restaurants in the Bryggen or at the Fish Market.

Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to the Bergen Airport for yoru flight home.
