After breakfast depart for a full day sightseeing tour. Visit the Brandenburg Gate, an 18th-century neoclassical monument in Berlin, built on the orders of Prussian king Frederick William II after the temporary restoration of order during the Batavian Revolution.  Also view the Reichstag, a historic edifice in Berlin, constructed to house the Imperial Diet (German: Reichstag) of the German Empire. It was opened in 1894 and housed the Diet until 1933, when it was severely damaged after being set on fire. we then visit the Pergamon Museum, built from 1910 to 1930 by order of German Emperor Wilhelm II in the historic center of Berlin and part of the UNESCO World Heritage we also view check point Charlie, best-known Berlin Wall crossing point between East and West Berlin during the Cold War (1947–1991), as named by the Western Allies. Conclude with a visit to Alexanderplatz, a large public square and transport hub in the central Mitte district of Berlin. The square is named after the Russian Tsar Alexander I with more than 360,000 visitors daily, Alexanderplatz according to one study is the most visited area of Berlin. Depart after breakfast to once known as East Germany to Luther’s city, Wittenberg. Famous for its close connection with Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation, for which it received the honorific Lutherstadt. Several of Wittenberg's buildings associated with the events, including a preserved part of the Augustinian monastery in which Luther lived, first as a monk and later as owner with his wife Katharina von Bora and family, considered to be the world's premier museum dedicated to Luther. Wittenberg was also the seat of the Elector of Saxony, a dignity held by the dukes of Saxe-Wittenberg, making it one of the most powerful cities in the Holy Roman Empire. Today, Wittenberg is an industrial center and popular tourist destination, best known for its intact historic center and various memorial sites dedicated to Martin Luther and Philip Melanchthon. The Luther Memorial was added to the UNESCO world heritage list in 1996. After visiting Luther’s House and Melanchthon House your tour  continues to Dresden with a long history as the capital and royal residence for the Electors and Kings of Saxony, who for centuries furnished the city with cultural and artistic splendor. Conclude your day with visits to the Zwinger Courts and the Frauen Kirche. After, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight accommodations. (B.D.)

Following breakfast depart for your full day tour. Your first visit is in Leipzig a trade city since at least the time of the Holy Roman Empire. n Leipzig, Christianity and the Church are important factors in the development of society. As early as the 15th and 16th centuries, Leipzig was of outstanding importance in terms of both intellectual and economic life in electoral Saxony. There is evidence of Martin Luther having stayed in the city 17 times. His most important sojourn was marked by his participation in the Leipzig Debate in the summer of 1519.The city sits at the intersection of the Via Regia and the Via Imperii, two important medieval trade routes. Continue to Eisleben, Luther’s birthplace. Eisleben is a town in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is famous as the hometown of Martin Luther; hence, its official name is Lutherstadt Eisleben. Conclude your tour by arriving in Erfurt for dinner and overnight accommodations at our hotel. (B.D.)

After breakfast continue touring in Erfurt, visit St. Mary Cathedral where Martin Luther, father of the Protestant Reformation, was ordained, whose origins date to the 8th century. Next to the cathedral is the Gothic Church of St. Severus. The Augustinerkloster is a monastery where Martin Luther lived as a monk. The Krämerbrücke bridge has medieval houses and shops, and stretches over the Gera River. Stop for lunch (on your own) then continue to Eisenach. Upon arrival visit Luther's house and Bach's house. Visit St. George’s church; visit Wartburg Castle, home to Luther, the fugitive from the Church in 1521 and 1522.  Wartburg was the birthplace of the German Bible, which Luther translated in 1522 and lived for 300 days and a fugitive from the Church in 1521 and 1522.  Dinner and overnight accommodations at your hotel in Eisenach. After breakfast, travel to Coburg and visit the fascinating Coburg Fortress, one of the largest surviving medieval fortresses in Germany, also known as the residence of Luther, in 1530 for the imperial Diet of Augsburg. After breakfast, a tour of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the oldest and most historic of the medieval towns along the Romantic Road. Visit St. James Church view the wooden carving of the Last Supper, also visit the world famous Christmas store and the Town Hall. Stop for lunch (on our own) then continue to Augsburg and visit the site of the Augsburg Confession and St. Anne’s Church. Onto Munich for a well deserved dinner with folklore entertainment. Begin your tour of Bavaria this morning with a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle arguably the world's most famous Castle. Continue to Oberammergau, known around the world for its Passion Play held every 10 years. Stop for lunch (on your own) before returning to Munich and visit Karstor Gate and our Lady's  Cathedral, the Gothic Town Hall and Maruenplatz.  After, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight accommodations. After breakfast a morning drive to the Medieval City of Heidelberg, visit the famous Stone bridge, the church of the Holy Spirit and the Castle. The Church of the Holy Spirit (German: Heiliggeistkirche) is the most famous church in Heidelberg, Germany. It stands in the middle of the market place in the old center of Heidelberg not far from the Heidelberg Castle. The Church of the Holy Spirit is first mentioned in a manuscript from 1239. After lunch (on own) depart for Worms, the site of Luther’s trial for heresy. Continue to Mainz-Rudesheim for dinner and overnight accommodations. (B.D.)

After breakfast we tour Mainz and visit the museum with one of 47 existing copies of the Guttenberg Bible. we explore Rhine’s Romanesque Cathedrals before boarding our Rhine cruise. We cruise past Lorelei, castles, barges and more. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight accommodations. (B.D.)
