We Depart the US on our flight from JFK to beautiful Rome Italy.

 We arrive in Rome and are transferred to our hotel. The rest of the day is on our own to relax and have a Welcome dinner at a local restaurant within walking distance of the hotel before we retire for the evening.    

Breakfast at the hotel.  Enjoy your Vatican tour with a private guide. Guided visit of Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel. At the end of the tour, visit St. Peter’s Basilica to see “Pieta” by Michelangelo. After the Vatican tour we have some free time for lunch on our own and then we meet and take a panoramic tour of Imperial Rome and then we stop and enter the Colosseum and enjoy a guided tour of the Colosseum before returning to our hotel for the evening.  Dinner will be on your own tonight.

Benedetta: the owners decided 10 years ago to plant Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc to offer a different option rather than the local Cesanese.  Tre Vecchie was born: a strong taste of cherry and a scent of chocolate and saffron with a note in ripe fruit and withered flowers are the main traits of this wine. At the end of the wine tasting, Santa Benedetta will host you for lunch, to try typical Roman dishes including local wines. Return to the hotel after the tour. Dinner will be on our own toni

Breakfast in hotel .A private driver will pick you up at your hotel in Rome and transfer  to your hotel in  Sorrento   Along the way stop in Pompeii for a private guided tour of the Archaeological Park. Imagine, a city perfectly preserved as it was on that fateful day 2,000-years-ago, when ash and lava literally stopped it in its tracks. You'll see the tragic fossils of people attempting to escape along with children and dogs.Then sit back and relax in the comfort of your private bus while your driver will transport you to  Sorrento  . Check in and settle in at your hotel

Breakfast at the hotel and then we are off to the AMALFI COAST. The Amalfi drive is said to be the most spectacular road in Europe and from Sorrento. The winding cliff top road offers breathtaking panoramic views at every bend. Each spot is a world of its own, a fantastic world which dazzles the imagination and inspires unforgettable impressions. We make a stop just above Positano which is another splendid jewel of this coastline, which boasts picturesque pink and white villas perched dramatically on the steep bill side. Then on to Amalfi, which gives its name to the whole coast on which it lies. Once a thriving Marine Republic, powerful and prosperous and now a thriving holydays resort. The unmistakable cluster of white tightly packed houses rising up the bill side is dominated by the beautiful Cathedral which stands superbly on the top of a great flight of steps leading up from the main square. Housed in the magnificent Cathedral there are the remains of the Patron Saint of Amalfi and also Scotland - Saint Andrew. From Amalfi we visit Ravello which nestles eleven hundred feet above the sea in the bill side. We visit Villa Rufolo which gave the musician Richard Wagner the inspiration to create one of his most famous operas, the Parsifal. We return back to the hotel for diner at the hotel.

No holiday would be complete without a trip to the Island of Capri This morning, after a delicious breakfast, we sail to the world’s most enchanting island—Capri. We’ll enjoy a PUBLIC BOAT tour around the island (weather permitting). We’ll cruise by the magnificent Faraglioni, Capri’s iconic rock formations which tower above the Mediterranean Sea. Next, we visit one of the lesser-known but equally beautiful sea caves, the Grotta Bianca. Then we’ll have free time to explore the island on our own. Later this afternoon, we return to Sorrento. Dinner is on your own.

After breakfast we depart from Sorrento to the beautiful town of Figline in the Tuscan area.  We check into  our 14th century Villa Hotel the Villa Casa Grande.  This hotel is located 30 minutes outside of Florence in the beautiful Tuscany country side within walking distance of the local town of Figline. Once at the villa walk out the back and down to the town to explore.  Dinner on your own tonight.

This morning we will take you for a guided walking tour of this Renaissance city. See the Cathedral, whose gigantic “cupola” is the symbol of Florence’s artistic achievements, the Baptistery (from outside) with it’s fine bronze doors adorned with the famous gates of Paradise; and Piazza della Signoria; see Giotto’s Bell Tower; Palazzo Vecchio.  Later on we visit the Accademia to visit the statue of David and all the other works of art. We have some free time in Florence to explore and have something to eat before returning to the villa for the evening.

Departure from the Villa with private transfer to La Spezia. Meet your private English speaking guide in La Spezia and take the boat (if weather permits) or train to visit the Cinque Terre (stop will be possible in only 2 cities and at the discretion of the guide according to the timing). Return to La Spezia, meet your driver and  head back to the Villa. We meet later to have a Farewell Dinner in the Villa with wine from the Villa.

Our last breakfast in Italy and then we transfer to Florence airport for your departure flight.
